Helminticide-L Deworming Tablet for Cats & Dogs — Broad-Spectrum Worm Treatment (1 Tablet)

The Helminticide-L deworming tablet is a broad-spectrum dewormer for cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. A single tablet combines three established anthelmintic agents — Praziquantel, Pyrantel Pamoate (Embonate) and Febantel — to clear roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms in one weight-based dose. In Bangladesh's warm, humid climate, pets that go outdoors, share food bowls, hunt, or live alongside street animals meet worm eggs all year round, which is why routine deworming every three months is one of the simplest ways to protect your pet's growth, coat, and appetite.

Why intestinal worms matter more than owners think

Worms rarely announce themselves. Long before you see anything in the litter tray, a parasite burden is quietly taking nutrients from every meal your pet eats. That shows up as a dull coat, a swollen belly on an otherwise thin body, slow weight gain in kittens and puppies, and an energy level that never quite returns. Heavy infestations can cause anaemia, vomiting and, in young animals, intestinal blockage. Some worms also pass to people, which makes deworming a household health measure rather than a pet-only one.

Signs your pet may need deworming

  • Visible worms or rice-like segments in stool, vomit or around the tail
  • Bloated or pot-bellied appearance, common in kittens with roundworms
  • Weight loss or poor weight gain despite a normal appetite
  • Dull, dry coat and low energy
  • Scooting along the floor or persistent licking of the back end
  • Occasional vomiting or loose stool with no other explanation

If you notice one or more of these, a broad-spectrum dewormer is the usual first step. Ask a veterinarian if the signs are severe, if your pet is very young, or if symptoms continue after treatment.

What makes Helminticide-L effective

  • Four worm types, one dose. Roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms are covered by a single tablet, so you are not buying separate products for separate parasites.
  • One product for the whole household. Suitable for cats and dogs, which simplifies parasite control in multi-pet homes.
  • Scored for accurate small-pet dosing. The tablet divides cleanly into quarters, so kittens and small breeds get a measured fraction rather than a guess.
  • No fasting required. Give it before, during or after a meal — there is no need to starve your pet ahead of treatment.
  • Easy to administer. Give it directly by mouth, or crush it into a spoon of wet food or a favourite treat.

  • Protects the family too. Clearing worms from your pet lowers the risk of parasite transmission to children and other household members.

For pets under 2 kg, or for pregnant, nursing, elderly or unwell animals, ask a veterinarian before dosing.

How to give the tablet in five steps:

  • Weigh your pet and read the correct fraction from the chart above.
  • Split the tablet along its score lines with a pill cutter for a clean, accurate fraction.
  • Place the dose directly in the mouth, or crush it into a small spoonful of wet food or a treat.
  • Watch until the full dose is eaten — a half-finished bowl means a half dose.
  • Repeat every three months for routine prevention, or as advised by your veterinarian.

Offering the tablet with a small meal helps pets with sensitive stomachs. If your pet vomits shortly after dosing, wait about 12 hours and try again with a smaller portion of food; if vomiting continues, contact a veterinarian instead of redosing.
